Click on the button for Walking (Mine is labelled as Num5). Select a number on your Numlock pad (I use 5 at the moment, no specific reason why). I have to manually open the chat window with the “back” button, then press Y (or X i don’t remember) then type de text in a xbox dashboard text field and then press X on the gamepad to send the text.
