First of all, make sure you turn off your Firewall settings. If you can’t do so, then do make sure to add Path of Exile in the list of exceptions to the Firewall. The reason why this is being emphasized is that in many cases Windows Firewall constantly prevents Path of Exile from communicating over the internet which creates huge ping spikes and delay.
