To unlock co-op in Genshin Impact and play with friends, you have to reach Adventure Rank 16 in solo play. Mind you, that’s not the same as Character Level. Those go up way quicker than Adventure Rank. That said, it probably won’t take you too long to get there, only a couple of hours. All you have to do is play and complete quests and open chests.
