I’ve noticed this as well. Whatever download portal they’re using for the us server has incredibly low bandwidth. I normally download at well over 25mbps and on their client I was maxing out at 3mbps. Hopefully they can identify the problem soon.
May 2, 2018 @ 5:52am. If your PC’s been on for a long time the resources could be low, so restarting your PC and power cycling your modem could fix the slow speed. You can also try clearing the Steam Download Cache and see if that works, as it has worked for me when certain downloads were going slower than usual. #1.
When I go to download the launcher off of the website, the download is EXTREMELY slow; like, not even a KB a second or anything.
