Node Managers that you have already spoken to can later be auto-pathed to via the NPC button on the top right of the screen.
Active Nodes are marked yellow on your map, while inactive ones are white. If you receive notifications that you need to connect previous Nodes to activate other ones, open your map and check high road from the nearest city. You need to activate all the Nodes that start in the city and connect it with the location you are interested in.
