Talk to Helena, you can choose your hideout there. She’s not giving me the option. She just has 3 dialogue options; Kitava, Education and Helena’s dream Try it outside of Oriath, e.g. act 2.

1. I stumbled upon Hideout Decorations, test clicked on something and found out I could move, reorient, and change lots of things in the Hideout. As far as I can figure I must have clicked on one to start something. Unfortunately to exit all I could figure out was to exit PoE and start over again.
You should be able to edit your Hideout and decorations using the Edit function displayed in the pop-up box at the middle of the bottom of your game client screen when standing in your Hideout in-game.

It costs nothing to change your hideout, all of your decorations will be moved into the hideout decorations tab which can be found in the bottom right of your screen when in your hideout. You lose the time you invested into decorating your hideout (which may have been hours!) but you keep all your decorations.
