What you make at the lower levels on the trades is dinky silver, and getting to those higher silver trades with the higher trade levels past apprentice is where trader lives. This is a good strategy for the casual gamer with limited hours/wk to put in the game, but this is a game that really demands huge strategic hours for the trading aspect of the game IMO.
